Dumbwaiter sees sunlight for first time in 137 years! It is very large for a dumbwaiter.
It was exciting to bring the dumbwaiter up into the sunlight and view it from all sides. The system took a bit of detective work to understand how it operated. Wear marks, grooves, and holes gave us clues as to how the system functioned. It now moves smoothly up or down the shaft.
